Before founding Thousand, I, the company's founder Gloria Hwang, was a longtime cyclist who never wore a helmet. However, after losing a friend in a fatal bike crash, I knew I had to change. Instead of settling for the "sci-fi" looking helmets on the market, I set out to design one myself.

We named our company "Thousand" as a goal to help save 1,000 lives by making helmets that people actually want to wear. This name serves as a daily reminder of why we do what we do.

FIT NOTES

Every head is different, but with our integrated dial fit system, it's easy to make small adjustments for a comfortable fit. You can also remove some or all of the interior fit pads without affecting the safety of your lid to achieve your preferred fit.
